In March, KONČAR and University of Leiden, on behalf of BALIHT, were guest-speakers at the FlowCamp Conference and Networking Event.
They were given the opportunity to talk about their field of expertise, applied to redox-flow batteries. Indeed, KONČAR was invited to present Organic redox flow battery’s Battery Management System (BMS). Universiteit Leiden took the floor to talk about Sustainability assessment of flow batteries. These elements are key-features of our project, for which they are responsible in BALIHT’s team.
We wish to thank the team of the FlowCamp project for the invitation to participate to their final event, and for their trust.
This cooperation between BALIHT and FlowCamp has been made possible through the framework of FLORES, the Network of Flow Battery Research Initiatives. FLORES brings together 13 EU-funded projects on redox flow batteries. All our projects have the same target: to develop and enhance flow batteries able to operate as energy storage systems dedicated to integrate renewable energy into the grid and/or charging stations.
Our projects are joining forces to exploit synergies and publicise our results in this dynamic research field. In that perspective, FLORES, as a research platform, aims at:
- Informing you about our latest research activities
- Providing you with information on conferences and events related to flow batteries
- Connecting you with experts in research institutes and universities working on different aspects of applied research on flow batteries.
