On 3-4 February 2020, BALIHT’s consortium gathered online for the Third General Assembly of the project.
All the partners took the floor to give an overview of the developments in each work package, one year after the beginning of the project. The assessment of the achievements confirmed that the planned timeline of the project is on track, which brings us closer to delivering on time the goal of the project: a new organic redox flow battery suitable to work at high temperatures.
As examples of achievements, preliminary economic analyses ran by Cobra Group were communicated and explained to the whole consortium, to give them a better understanding of the battery system costs. KONCAR, in a joint work with other partners of the team, also made progress in defining the necessary components for the Battery management system and its integration to the battery. AliénorEU gave an overview of their activity to reach out to the scientific community and general audience through BALIHT’s social media accounts and new communication tools such as posters.
The two-day Assembly led to fruitful discussions and exchanges among members. Once again, the meeting showed how smooth is the cooperation among the partners of the consortium. The gathering also allowed to think of new ways of collaboration between our multidisciplinary team on the next steps of the project.
